She is an experienced and passionate dietician with a demonstrated 10-year of research and clinical experience. Participating in numerous research protocols and scientific conferences.
She was born in 1986 in Greece; in 2008 she graduated from the department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Harokopeio University in Athens and in 2012 she completed her Masters in Clinical Nutrition. Her passion for nutrition is also to be seen in long research and clinical experience in a wide range of working environments. She used to work among others at the University Paediatric Clinic in Athens and at the University Clinic of TUM “Klinikum rechts der Isar” in Munich, Germany, in both clinics she had the chance to deal with a wide range of nutritional cases.
As she has always been interested in research, she has worked as a research associate in Harokopeio University, in the National University of Athens as well as in the National School of Public health in Greece. In 2013 she moved to Munich, Germany to participate in a European Project on “the effect of early protein intake on later growth in infancy” in cooperation with the Ludwig Maximilian University and the Paediatric Clinic “Dr. von Haunersche Kinderspital”; this was also the topic of her PhD.
Finally, she is an active member of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) and the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN).
