Thanos Mengrelis
Thanos has acquired the QTS and he is an authorised UK national curriculum teacher. He has been at several English secondary schools and colleges since 2011 and he has been a part of the leadership board in various educational settings. He has been teaching a variety of different subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science to English native speakers.
Thanos completed his BA in education studies at UCL. Furthermore, he continued with a MA and PhD degree in Social Psychology and he developed his knowledge regarding human behaviour. Thanos acquired his TEFL diploma from the International TEFL Academy in Chicago, IL, with a speciality in English for Business and later on, he gained his Cambridge DELTA Diploma (MA in Applied Linguistics) with a speciality in Lawyers English.
He has recently commenced an intercultural communication degree by BAMIC which will enable him to teach cultural communication to professionals who seek to develop their awareness in this field of expertise. Likewise, he attended several Business courses provided by the University of Maryland (English for Finance, Legal English, Interviewing and Resume Writing in English Specialization).

The experience of being a TESOL teacher throughout the years has proved it is a matter of individuality, whether teaching one to one or amongst groups. Every candidate is different and unique.
I have developed teaching strategies that facilitate the acquisition of critical skills, including the critical analysis of varied forms of communication and the improvement of students’ writing skills in order to reinforce their critical thinking abilities. When students gain these competencies, they can move forward in their careers by showing complete comprehension of general aspects of British Business Culture.
