Dr Elias Tsakos MD (Hons), FRCOG | Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, Surgeon & Fertility Specialist
Dr Elias Tsakos has 30 years experience in the Specialty, is internationally acclaimed for his medical expertise and he is one of the pioneers of Hysteroscopic, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in Greece.
Dr E. Tsakos has been a Scholar of the National Institute of Scholarships of Greece (IKY) and the of the European Union (ECTS scheme) during his undergraduate studies, graduated from the Medical School of Thessaloniki, Greece with First Class Honours (Hons), has been extensively trained, specialized and certified in the UK and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of London.
Dr Tsakos has been awarded a Diploma from the Faculty Family Planning in the UK (DFFP) in 1993, a Certificate of Specialist Training in the UK (CST) in 1996 and has been admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of London (RCOG) in 1997 and as a Fellow of the RCOG in 2010.
Furthermore Dr Tsakos has been a recognized Colposcopist by the British Society of Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) since 1997.
Author and co-author in many scientific publications and frequent presenter and invited expert speaker in National and International Conferences.
Dr Tsakos’s innovative scientific research on “Anti-Mullerian Hormone” has been published, referenced and awarded by the RCOG at an International Conference www.rcog2011.com
Dr Tsakos is a Medical and Fertility Tourism advocate for Greece, nationally and internationally and is invited speaker in multiple Medical Tourism Events.
